Welcome to my adventure...
Hi,
My name is Holly. I want to welcome you to The Sugar Glider Patch.
I've been trying to think of how I want to share my garden with the world. I have an Instagram page but sometimes you just need a bit more words to go with your images.
So, here I am. Starting a blog all to do with my garden.

I've been trying to think of how I want to share my garden with the world. I have an Instagram page but sometimes you just need a bit more words to go with your images.
So, here I am. Starting a blog all to do with my garden.
I live in the outer suburbs of Metropolitan Melbourne, Australia, on Wurundjeri Country.
My patch isn't very big, but I'm working at trying to figure out how best to utilize the space I've been blessed with.
In the past, I have only grown your normal, run of the mill veggies, but this year I have been trying to build my plant variety ever so slowly so that eventually I can achieve self-sufficiency.

Winter this year wasn't the greatest here. Our weather was so odd and a lot of my crops didn't mature until Spring. I still have a Brussel Sprout plant that is in my garden that still hasn't got its bobbles grown on it, but I'm being patient and seeing how it goes because we are still having winter style weather here. Because of that, I have been delayed in planting out my Spring/Summer crops. I have seedlings in my greenhouse all waiting patiently for the weather to warm up so they can survive the frost.
This Spring/Summer I will be planting some varieties that I have never attempted before, so it will be an adventure to see how I go in achieving a bountiful harvest.
The veggies that are hanging out waiting to be planting are:
